How do we teach?

This intensive training program uses an applied teaching style with small class sizes. Students benefit from an integrative approach to learning that includes lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, group discussions, individual research and assignments. This ensures that we accommodate and support learners with different learning styles.

Activities and discussions are graded on the basis of participation and completion. Instructors closely monitor activities and discussions to ensure that students stay on track. Assignments are graded using pass/fail competency matrices. Instructors provide detailed feedback on all assignments to ensure that misunderstandings are promptly resolved. There is a written final exam that evaluates students' retention of important information.

To successfully complete the course, students must attend every day of the course, actively participate, pass all assignments and achieve a minimum of 75% on the final exam. Learners who successfully complete the course receive a PRA® Foundations Certificate of Completion.
